“Empowering Parents. Supporting Students. Guided by Faith”
Welcome to Holy Spirit Special Education Advocacy Firm!
I’m honored and deeply humbled to serve as the President & CEO of this faith-driven nonprofit organization. What began as a calling in my heart has grown into a mission to empower families, uplift children with exceptional needs, and bring hope to those navigating the often overwhelming world of special education.
As a parent, educator, and advocate, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges families face when trying to secure the right support for their children. That’s why we’re here — to stand in the gap, to provide guidance with compassion, and to walk with families in both truth and grace.
Our services go beyond paperwork and meetings. We equip parents with knowledge, walk with them through IEP and 504 plans, provide consistent follow-up, and offer spiritual encouragement through monthly Bible studies — because advocacy is not just about education, it’s about the heart.
Whether you’re a parent seeking support, a community member looking to help, or someone simply curious about our mission — thank you for being here. Your presence matters. Your prayers and support make this possible. And together, we can ensure that no family walks this road alone.
With gratitude and faith,
Cristina A. Dorta

Holy Spirit Special Education Advocacy Firm
Holy Spirit Special Education Advocacy Firm is a faith-driven non-profit organization dedicated to empowering families of children with exceptional needs and disabilities. We provide personalized coaching, education, and advocacy services to help parents understand and navigate the complexities of special education programs, including IEPs and Section 504 Plans. Our goal is to ensure that every child receives the support, accommodations, and opportunities they deserve to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
To make our services accessible to all, we offer income-based support for families in need. Through compassionate guidance, strategic advocacy, and Spirit-led encouragement, we walk alongside families with grace, knowledge, and integrity — because every child deserves a champion, and every parent deserves support.
To educate, equip, and advocate for families of exceptional learners by helping them understand their rights, access appropriate educational services, and become confident partners in their child’s educational journey — guided by faith, empathy, and unwavering support.
To create a world where every student with disabilities or exceptional needs is supported, valued, and given the opportunity to reach their fullest potential — and where every parent is empowered to be a confident and informed advocate for their child’s future.
At Holy Spirit Special Education Advocacy Firm, we believe that every child is uniquely created by God with purpose, value, and potential. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that education should be inclusive, equitable, and infused with compassion — and that parents are their child’s first and most powerful advocates.
We approach every family with faith, dignity, and respect, understanding that advocacy is more than a service — it's a ministry. By blending professional expertise with Spirit-led support, we walk alongside families to ensure that every exceptional student receives the educational opportunities and care they need to thrive academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
We believe that true advocacy is firm, yet gentle; informed, yet humble; and always grounded in love. Our work is guided by grace, strengthened by truth, and powered by our commitment to serve families with excellence and integrity.
As part of our mission to uplift and educate families and communities, we offer free instructional sessions to help parents understand the critical processes and programs available in schools for students with disabilities and exceptional needs. These sessions are provided as a community outreach effort and are supported through donations.
Topics include:
💛 These sessions are offered at no cost. Donations are encouraged from those who are able, to help sustain and grow our outreach services.
We are committed to equity and access for all families. All advocacy services are available on an income-based sliding scale for qualifying families. Additionally, up to 10% of our caseload is reserved for pro bono services. Families who apply for free services will be placed on a waitlist and served in the order applications are received.
As we are in the early stages of our mission-driven work, our ability to expand pro bono services depends on the generosity of our donors and supporters. Your contributions make it possible for us to serve more families in need.
Making Advocacy Accessible for All Families
At Holy Spirit Special Education Advocacy Firm, we believe that every family deserves access to quality support and advocacy, regardless of financial circumstances.
